About Northville

Northville was settled in the 1800s. It was originally apart of Plymouth Township. Northville officially became a village in 1867 and a city in 1955. Northville is known for its small, quaint atmosphere. The city is home to the Northville Downs Racetrack, its very own children’s theater, the Marquis Theatre, shops, restaurants and much more. The Mill Race Historical Village is a small area that holds multiple historic buildings with attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Northville has multiple annual events. Some of them are:

Victorian Festival, the Ghoultide Gathering, and the Car Tunes Fall Festival, which all take place during the months of September and October.
